The Reserve Poultry Champion - a bard rock pullet.

A lovely sunny day at Ayr Show this year. Carey Coombs judged the shorthorns and had Millerston Gretta Karma as his breed champion with Millerston Irania Linnet reserve. This success kept Eilidh out of the beer tent until at least 3pm as the two teamed up wth Millerston Lynchpin for the group of three.

But the real success of the day came from the 'pucking hens'! (as Grace so affectionately calls them) Reserve Champion in the Poultry with his barred rock pullet won Jack a magnum which will be coming to the Highland Show as there's no way we could drink it all! (well, Eilidh could probably give it a good go, but it's going to the Highland Show instead.
