After winning the All Ireland Calf Champion 2016 he was bought by Jack for his strong maternal traits and adds a new bloodline to the UK. First calves on the ground look promising.

Glenrinnes Goliath

Bought for his traditional shorthorn qualities - structurally correct, naturally fleshy and medium framed.
Son of Chapelton Ensign
Dam hails from the well-known Flossy family.

Meonhill Charlie Chaplin
P, Dark Roan
Sired by the North American embryo, Chapleton Winsome and out of Chris Marler's favourite Flossy line.
Charlie was acquired from David and Rosemary Dickie after 3 successful season at Knockenjig.
He is a really modern bull with great legs, feet and muscle to spare.
Charlie has been mated to the Beefeater daughters.

Podehole Beefeater
H, Roan
Purchased as the Junion Champion at Stirling, Feb 2010 for 14,00gns.
At the time this was the highest priced shorthorn bull since 1946.
Sire: Trojan of Craigeassier, Interbreed Champion at the Royal Highland and Great Yorkshire SHows in 2011.
Dam: Wenmar Madeline, Dam of 2 Royal Highland Show Champions.
Beefeater was bought for his strong, maternal line. He was a big, upstanding bull, full of character and beef with a great disposition.
Shown a couple of times, he was Interbreed Champion at Ayr Show twice and Stirling Show once.

Millerston Einstein
H, Dark Roan
A big, rangey son of Beefeater, Einstein is line bred to the Wenmar Madelines.
Won 1st as a calf at the National Calf Show.

Millerston Cyclone
P, Roan
Sired by Glenbrae Yogi (from Jim Nelson's reliable Floss family) and out of a Gretta cow that has been a very good breeder at Millerston.
Cyclone is a full brother to Millerston Burns Supper, Reserve Junior Champion at Perth Bull Sales, 2010 (stock bull for Erland Flett's Hurtiso Herd in Orkney).
Millerston Neptune
H, Red
100% Balmyle breeding sired by Zeus and out the Gretta family.
He left strong offspring full of beef.
Sold on to the Redpaths of Knowehead where he sired Reserve Junior Champion at Perth, Feb'05.
Wenmar Topnotch
P, Roan
Sired by Glenisla McBeth (a son of Major GIbb's great Highland Show Champion Pauline Daisy) and out of a Hauxwell cow.
Topnotch produced a lot of good, mily breeding cows.
Most of his daughters were attractive red-necked roans with good udders and teats.
Millerston Champions at Stirling Oct'13 and Feb'14 were both out of Topnotch Dams.
Glenbrae Yogi
H, Roan
Sired by Irish bull, Hillview King and out of Jim Nelson's reliable Floss family.
Yogi did a great job at Millerston producing bulls working in commercial stocks from Orkney to Wigton.
All of his heifer were retained.
